Nine memorable holes

The golf experience on Rock par3 course is more social, fun and faster — from the first shot to the last. Rock offers a new kind of an authentic golf experience, where every hole creates exciting moments. The dream of a hole-in-one can come true at any time. Get to know our fantastic holes.

Hole 1

On the starting hole, the position of the flag is important for the playability of the fairway, especially if your skills are not the sharpest. If the flag is on the back left, you should place the ball on the right half of the green or even in front of the green, because the bunkers, on both sides of the green, narrow the playing area the more deeper you go into the green.

Hole 2

A classically clear par3 view opens from the wide hitting area on top of the rock. A preview of what's to come can be found in the form of a pond right in front of the cliff. Here, crossing the pond is still effortless. The green and the bunkers surrounding it are easy to see in the landscape in front, left and back. The safest route to the green is through the right side of the fairway, from where the natural path of the ball is directed towards the green. The basic slope of the green is from right to left.

Hole 3

The landscape is dominated by a pond, built in a crater-like former swamp, and the large bunker and green behind it. The distance to the green is shorter than it seems at a first glance. Those who play it safe will find space on the right side of the green. The large green, up to 45 meters wide, is divided into two parts by a mound in the middle of the green parallel to the playing line. If the ball and flag are on different sides of the mound, the player can be happy with having two putts.

Hole 4

Waiting for your turn at the tee that runs along the edge of the highlands, it's easy to understand where the course got its name. In addition to the large boulder — The Rock — rocky surfaces follow the line of play on the right all the way. The hole narrows towards the end. The small but clearly shaped green has a deep bunker on the left and a rocky forest floor on the right. Hitting over the green should be avoided, as the forest in the background is challenging in terms of follow-up.

Hole 5

A very impressive golf hole that can be hit well down from the top. Balls hit from tees with stone edges stay in the air for a long time, giving the player plenty of time to admire the wooden supported edge bordering the pond and the solid rock formation behind the green on the left. On this fairway, the flag position plays a big role in how difficult the hole plays. Most of the green is clear and very receptive to the ball. When the flag is placed on the right back edge, the difficulty factor of the hole rises to a whole new level.

Hole 6

A very long hole for a Par3, offers many different ways to play it. Feels most at home for a fade player hitting almost 200 meters in the air. The shot should not be directed towards the green, but to the left of it, from where the ball, dropped on the curve of the "velodrome", starts to bounce towards the green. If the flag is not visible at the teeing ground, it is probably placed at the back of the nearly 40 meter long green. In that case, make sure that the group playing ahead of you leaves the green before your own shot.

Hole 7

Hole that follows the bottom of the valley all the way is a spectacular hole. The rock walls rising on both sides of the view and a large water area offers a feast for the eyes. A safe route goes along the left edge of the fairway, although the playing area is quite narrow. However, there is more space on the left side of the green. The green is large and has many shapes. If the flag is on the right side of the green, you should be careful with the right side of the green.

Hole 8

On the eight fairway, you cross the water for the last time and for the first time on Rock you have to dodge the pines near the fairway. Especially spin players have to think carefully about which route to send their ball to the green. The green is built in a natural space left between large rock masses, as if in a large bird's nest. There is a bunker on the left in front of the green. When the flag is on the back side of the green, the player can be satisfied with making a par.

Hole 9

The homecoming hole may look simple and even easy when viewed from the tee. However, don't let the first impression fool you, because there is only limited space at the edges of the fairway. On the right side there is a rocky forest slope, and to the left there is a large bunker. The terrace of the clubhouse brings its own spice to the last fairway, where the familiar and the yet unknown are ready to cheer on the players' final performances.
